Sheng Yuan Spider-Man Book (Spider-Man Collection) set SY1461 revealed

This is the second book collection set to be released by Sheng Yuan after the first book collection set which is the Iron Man Book set 1361.

Here are all the pictures of it:

There are total 52 minifigs in this set, some of them have never been made before like the Penny Parker minifig from Into the Spider-Verse. I don't know every figure in here but I think there are definitely others that haven't been made before in minifig form. The figures look quite detailed and the book cover with Spider-Man's mask looks good as well.

Lego Star Wars Encyclopedia exclusive Darth Maul revealed

The exclusive Darth Maul minifigure that will be included in a Lego Star Wars Character Encyclopedia that will be releasing in 2020 has been revealed by Amazon. The Darth Maul is based off his brief appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

This is how the book looks like:

The figure looks great, I think it's really well done, but it would have been better if they gave him an Inquisitor lighsaber which is what appeared in the movie.

Xinh Marvel Super Heroes The Wasp set 826 review

Here's a minifig review for the blog. Today I have the wasp minifigire based off the wasp character from the Ant-man and the Wasp movie. It came out in an 8 pack set with mostly Avengers: Infinity War minifigures. So let's get into it.

So this is the figure itself right here. The torso printing looks great. But unfortunately, the printing is off centered. Same goes for the legs.

The helmet mould is the Lego Ant-Man helmet mould but with a yellow tint. It looks fine on the figure.

This is the face print under the helmet.

There is also an alternate expression which is a smirk.

There is side arm printing on the figure which is present on both sides.

This is the back of the figure. A transparent fairy wing piece is included. It is different from the piece that's included on the original Lego Wasp figure.

Here's a closer look at it.

This is the back torso and leg print. It's nice that back leg printing is present. The back torso print has the printing of the device that stores the wings. The yellow lines look really nice on the legs.

So overall this is an ok figure for what it is. At least its better than the original Lego Wasp figure. But the quality control of this isn't that great. The helmet and wing piece is definitely better than the original Lego figure.

But I don't recommend this to anyone because there is already a better version of the Wasp figure made by WM with an accurate helmet piece and good printing.
If you want a good Wasp figure, this is not it, I recommend you getting the WM Wasp figure.

Lego DC Minifigure Series revealed (2020 Lego Winter Wave)

The long rumored Lego DC Minifigure Series has finally been revealed after all the leaks of individual minifigs on Instagram. They are revealed by a Japanese retailer. There are total of 16 minifigures in the series.

These are the images:

There are a lot of nice figures in this series. Some that we haven't gotten before which is great. Figures that are very common in DC Super Heroes sets are in this as well and I am glad that they are not just slight variants.

But the thing that I hate about this is the price, it is rumored to cost USD4.99 which will most likely be true. The price of previous minifigure series have already been expensive enough and this series definitely doesn't justify the price increase. Maybe its because of licensing but 5 dollars is expensive for a minifig.

So overall, I like this series but I really hate the price.

Lego Star Wars The Mandalorian Battle Pack set revealed (Lego 2020 Winter Wave)

So the final set of the 2020 Lego Star Wars Winter Wave sets has finally been revealed. I apologise for the late update. But anyway, it's the only set missing from the wave of Lego Star Wars 2020 Winter set reveals.

These are all the set pictures:

The builds look great. I like the fact that there are 2 builds instead of only one. The figures are very colourful. They look really nice as well. And there are 4 sets of accessories for all of them.

This is definitely the right time to release the set since the Mandalorian hype will still be around when the set releases. Hopefully we will get more sets in the future based off the Mandalorian.
