Lego Speed Champions 2020 Winter Wave sets revealed

So every Lego Speed Champions set that will be released on January 2020 has officially been revealed with the final set revealed being the Nissan GT-R Nismo set 76896 which was revealed just a few hours ago at a press event in Japan

These are all the Speed Champions sets that will be releasing on January 2020:

Lego Speed Champions Ferrari F8 Tributo set 76895

Lego Speed Champions Nissan GT-R Nismo set 76896

Lego Speed Champions 1985 Audi Sport quattro S1 set 76897

Lego Speed Champions Formula E Panasonic Jaguar Racing GEN2 car & Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY set 76898

Lego Speed Champions Lamborghini Urus ST-X & Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO set 76899

So these are all of the sets that have been revealed, this wave does feel smaller than previous waves because almost all the builds here are car builds while previous waves have a lot more side builds. That's because the cars are built using more pieces since they are going for 8-stud wide cars this wave. I think it's great to have 8-stud wide cars since you can fit 2 minifigs in the cars and have more space but this change has already annoyed a lot of people who collect Speed Champions cars because cars from all of the other previous waves are 6-stud wide. Plus, the cost of the sets have increased which might affect the budget of other people.

But anyway, for the sets themselves I think the cars are really cool cars, you have some new brands like Lamborghini and Nissan. The cars they are trying to make are really awesome cars in real life. I think the Lamborghini set and the Jaguar set look really good. Same thing goes for the Ferrari and the Audi. But the Nissan GT-R just looks bad, I had high expectations for that car but it just looks bad with all the decals on it. It would have looked much better if they just went with the street version of the GT-R. This is why I don't like Speed Champions cars, they make cars that people really want in Lego form but add a crap ton of decals on it. But nonetheless, I am excited to see how the 8-stud wide cars would look in person.
